How it's made

• Milk from Gir (A2) cows is boiled
• The milk is set into curd
• The curd is churned using the bilona method to get makkhan
• The makkhan is slowly cooked on a wood fire into ghee
• The ghee is then packed

How to enjoy it

• A spoonful on hot rotis, parathas or rice
• Tadka for dal, sabzi and khichdi
• Halwa, laddoo and festive sweets
